I help women to get dressed with ease.
I’m also the author of The Nest Pretty Lifestyle Guide which is all about Making Small Choices Every Day That Add Up to a Beautiful Life! Now, the work of making small choices applies in your closet and I'll just tell you a little story about how everything changed for me when it came to my personal closet. We were relocating and we had to find a new home. So, we spent three months camping out in a 1/1 apartment with Aunt Flo. She had so many clothes that there was no space in her closets to hang even one item, so we lived out of our carry-on suitcase for three months. I very intentionally chose clothing that I loved and I knew I could wear over and over again. What I learned from this experience was that I could get away with so much less and also there were no thoughts about getting dressed and it just made getting dressed so much easier. There was NO DRAMA!
When you intentionally choose clothes that you love, clothes that fit you then it is such a pleasure to get dressed now you have experienced this if you’ve packed for a trip of any length. You chose pieces that you love, pieces that fit you and then you go on to enjoy your holiday. You just get dressed with ease. You don’t put clothes on and then take them off and then put something else on. NO! Because you did the work in advance.
When I realized how much freedom exists in a very small wardrobe then I started implementing that in the work that I do as a professional organizer. I love helping people inside of their closets and implementing a wardrobe that you love so that you can get dressed with ease.
I’ve also learned life coaching tools to help me in this work. I started implementing life coaching with the organization and there you have a Closet Coach!
I'm curious what your biggest wardrobe challenge is?
