Cheerleader
Cheerleading is one of my favorite things to do!
I was never an official cheerleader, but I will raise my arms and cheer every chance I get.

One morning I awoke and couldn't move my arms. I was confused. I’d run a marathon the day before. 26.2 miles of running and I was tired. My legs were not as sore as I thought they’d be. But, why can’t I move my arms?

I realized after some reflection that I’d run the entire race with my arms raised above my head in cheer.
I was cheering for myself and my running partner Janet. We’d prepared mentally and physically for this moment. We are awesome!
I was cheering for fellow runners that we passed or who passed us. I was just so excited for all of us!
I cheered for the cheerers. The people who selflessly lined the streets to encourage us. I cheered for them as they cheered for me.
As a Closet Coach, I’m here to cheer you on toward your goals. Sometimes, we need a cheerleader to remind us that we deserve pure elegance everyday. I’ll do that all day long til I can’t move my arms!

Laughing Wasn't Always This Easy

I don’t care….

I don’t care what other people think about me. That’s none of my business.
I don’t get easily offended. I have a very generous filter.
I don’t spend any time shaming my body. My body is precious and it’s the only one I have.
I don’t care if people judge me. They can be wrong about me.
I don’t care if I’m a bad dancer. I dance anyway.

I do care…

I do care about my God and how I represent him. I’m very sensitive to his feelings.
I do care about my husband and how I show up as his wife. We are one flesh! How I show up for him is how I show up for me.
I do care about the thoughts I have about myself and I pay very close attention.

The work I’ve done over the years has paid off.
I am happy, grateful, content, satisfied, loved, and proud NOW.
The work I do in one area of my life profoundly affects all areas of my life.
You can’t run a marathon without strengthening your self discipline.
DECIDING is the most powerful skill I’ve learned.
The energy that is released when you decide is profound.
My goal is always to thrive! Not just survive. This is within my control and this is the best news!

I’m a Life Coach!

I’m here to guide you to the most healthy, loving relationship with yourself so that you can:
